Lead racks

This set comes with a choice of designs of our 3 hooked beautifully stylish and functional personalised dog lead rack to compliment your hallway, utility room or boot room. Hooks made from cast iron or dowel and cartridge caps which are in keeping with the quality and craftsmanship of the product.

Made from a 9mm uniquely faced ply wood enables the engraving of ‘Leads’ ‘Walkies ‘Dog Coats’ or ‘Gun Dogs’ to reveal the layers of wood and the stylish Chester & Cooke logo gives the product a classy and stylish finish for your home.

The cartridge caps can vary in colour, mainly silver or a bronze colour, some may have an additional colour, we always ensure all racks have the same colour cartridge per rack.

Handmade Natural Dog Soap

We use Coconut oil as our main ingredient in our handmade soap which makes a high foaming and highly cleansing soap. I kid you not this lather’s so well it is amazing. It is perfect for those muddy muzzles, precious paws and of course those dreaded patches of fox poo all dogs seem to love and Its great for greasy coats.

Coconut oil is well known for it’s natural anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It contains Vitamin E and is an excellent moisturiser. All our soaps contain free floating coconut oil within each bar, just enough to moisturise the skin without weighing down the coat.

Scents

Revive and Shine – Lavender, Lemongrass & Rosemary Essential Oils with Calendula to make that coat shine.

Clean & Calm – With Lavender Essential Oil & Black Poppy Seeds to sooth and calm.

Buzz Off – Citronella, Lemongrass, Spearmint & Peppermint Essential Oils, with White poppy seeds – to help fight off those Bugs and clean the coat and skin.

The Dog Gift Set also includes – Nose, Skin and Paw Balm

Our moisturising dog balm is perfect for dry or crusty noses, sore and cracked paw pads, calloused elbows, or irritated skin. So is a great addition to your dogs 1st aid kit. This is handmade and all natural with no nasties. Safe to lick and is lightly scented.

Our balm is made with hemp, lavender and peppermint oils. Hemp oil contains Omega 3 and 6 and is a great source of high quality nutrients for skin health.

They come in a 15g tin, with this set.

How and when to apply

Dogs tend to lick their noses, especially around feed times, so we recommend using the nose balm after your dog has eaten. Apply to clean dry skin as often as needed. In the first instance apply morning and night and 1-2 extra times during the day. But do not worry our balm is safe to lick.

Dry noses

A dry nose doesn’t necessarily mean your dog is unwell, but it could indicate an allergy or irritant. The main reasons why your dog’s nose is dry could be due to allergies or sunburn, from excessive licking, age or perhaps dehydration. However, if they are showing any other symptoms that concern you its best to get them checked out by a vet.

Dry noses can be sore for your dog so a moisturising and hydrating nose balm can help relieve the discomfort. Using our natural dog balm can help keep the nose moist, prevent it from cracking and help sooth any irritation. As the balm is going on their nose, we have ensured our balm has minimal fragrance and taste, as well as being dog-friendly in case it is licked off.

If your dog likes to stay snuggled up to a fireplace or a radiator during the winter months, they may leave themselves at risk of a dry nose. So be prepared with some balm on stand by.

Our Balm can also be used on paws and skin too.

Natural Materials
As this product is made from natural materials, there occasionally may be colour variations or knots in the layers of wood, which may be seen in the engraving or edges, however we feel this adds to the natural look of the product and gives it a unique appearance.

Product Care

Our Antique Iron hooks may show light surface Rust if exposed to damp environments. If necessary, this can be easily removed by using light oil (such as WD40) and a fine grade wire wool. We recommend you remove any residue oil, with a wipe over with a cloth.
